I won't lie. This place will hardly be a depot of metaphysical thoughts or intelligent discussion. You won't find any wellsprings of social or political commentary here, besides my own sarcastic jabs at the world. I'm told I'm funny when I try [I think they're being kind]. In actuality, this journal will most likely be a repository for any fic or fanart I choose to do. Most of the art will be comics related with the occasional piece that doesn't fit any catagory, but I do take requests.

I sometimes write fanfiction. Its been a while since I wrote something worth wild. I used to pen a number of QaF stories, but the show has failed to be inspiring. I like to focus on juicy, even trashy drama these days. The O.C. comes to mind, but my interests span a multitude of genres from comics, primarily DC, to mainstream to sci-fi and so on.

Shows I like: Heroes, Doctor WHO, Torchwood, The O.C. {R.I.P.}, Scrubs, House, Battlestar Galactica 2005, American Idol [I have no shame], the Simpsons, Futurama, Daily Show, Reno 911, What not to Wear, How Do I Look?, Teen Titans, JLU, Batman, ADULT SWIM, Sex and the City, Queer as Folk [in its heyday, but the orgasm has been long over], Ultraviolet, Buffy, Angel [seasons 1-3], Serenity [NOW] why is this show NOT on the air? Ugh, I hate you, FOX.

Books I like: Harry Potter [without saying], Anne Rice [her older work], Poppy Z. Brite, Mercedez Lackey, Stephen King, Dean Koontz [older work], David Eddings, Catherine Asaro [this woman will subliminally teach you physics through sex], C.J. Cherryh, Jackie Collin's "Rock Star" [don't ask me why--just read it], Robert Ludlum's Bourne Trilogy [although the movie wasn't bad, the books have a deeper, psychological suspense]. I also dig the occasional autobiography and sometimes an exposition on various wars that have nothing to do with me, "An Army at Dawn" by Rick Atkinson is a good one if you're into military history.

Comics I like: Batman, Nightwing, Outsiders, Teen Titans [wolfman/perez era], Wolverine, X-men [sometimes], Cable & Deadpool [must read], Y the Last man [must-must read], The Authority [why are you not reading this], WildCats [particularly 3.o].

I'll post more later. As I said: work in progress... and a bit of neglect.
